Valenzuela lifts anti-hoarding ordinance

Valenzuela City lifted the Anti-Hoarding and Anti-Panic Ordinance on April 12 as the National Capital Region and other nearby provinces shifted to modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ), according to a report by Manila Bulletin.

With the lifting of the ordinance, supermarkets and groceries in the city will no longer limit the number of essential goods a customer can buy.

On March 29, Ordinance No. 669, Series of 2020, the Anti-Hoarding and Anti-Panic Buying measure, was imposed in the city due to the implementation of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ).
