“Sa pamamagitan ng ating mga programang pangkabuhayan, nawa’y mas marami pa tayong matulungang pamilya upang makaahon sa krisis dulot ng pandemya (Through our livelihood programs, may we help more families to survive the crisis caused by the pandemic),” he added.

The DOLE gives the award to local government units that demonstrated efficient implementation of livelihood programs following the guidelines of the department’s Integrated Livelihood and Emergency Employment Program (DILEEP).

Ms. Violeta Gonzales, head of the city’s Public Employment Services Office (PESO), received the award during the ceremony.

This is the local government’s 5th DILP award from the DOLE for implementing effective livelihood projects in the city.
