Caloocan provides free services, financial aid to residents
The Caloocan City Hall – North was filled with excitement as the local government initiated its program called People’s Day on Thursday, March 9. The program aimed to provide assistance to the residents of Caloocan City through various services, such as free medication, consultation, haircut, and financial assistance.
The local government provided the residents with the opportunity to avail of these services without any cost, and it was heartening to see the people take advantage of the initiative. The program was launched with the primary goal of reaching out to the marginalized sectors of the community, who may not have access to these services due to financial constraints.
The program received an overwhelming response from the residents of Caloocan, who arrived in large numbers to avail of the services offered. The program was a clear indication of the local government's commitment to improve the lives of its citizens.
The free medication service was undoubtedly the most sought-after service of the program. Many residents queued up to receive the medicines prescribed by the doctors on-site. The consultation services also proved to be beneficial, as the residents received medical advice and recommendations from the doctors and medical staff.
In addition to the medical services, the program also provided free haircuts to the residents. The service was primarily intended for the unemployed and low-income families who cannot afford a regular haircut.
Furthermore, the program also offered financial assistance to those who needed it the most. The local government provided cash assistance to those who were experiencing financial difficulties due to the pandemic.
