Caloocan opens molecular laboratory for swab tests of workers
The Caloocan Molecular Laboratory is now accepting residents and non-residents of the city who wish to avail of reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) or swab tests for COVID-19 for travel and work purposes, according to a report by Manila Bulletin.
Mayor Oca Malapitan made the announcement in a Facebook post on Sunday (March 21).
Those individuals who have symptoms of COVID-19, as well as those who require RT-PCR test results for work or travel purposes, can get tested in the laboratory.
The laboratory will be open from Monday to Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Clients will only need to present a valid identification card and active and updated PhilHealth card.
The RT-PCR test costs P391 if clients have an active and updated Philhealth account and P3,800 for non Philhealth members.
The results will be sent to the client’s email address after 24 hours.
