Caloocan identifies priority vaccination recipients

Nasa 336,446 katao sa Caloocan ang kabilang sa Priority Eligible Group A o target na unang mabakunahan sa lungsod, ayon kay Mayor Oca Malapitan.

Una sa listahang ito ang mga health worker sa mga health center, pampubliko at pribadong ospital, contact tracers, barangay health workers, senior citizens, indigent population at uniformed personnel.

Ayon kay Mayor Oca, ang nasa Priority Group A ng Caloocan ay nasa 19.58% ng kabuuang populasyon ng lungsod na umaabot sa 1.7 milyon.

Target ng Pamahalaang Lungsod na makabuo ng 481 vaccination teams upang makapagbakuna ng 100 katao kada-team sa isang araw at matapos ang pagbabakuna ng unang dose sa Priority Group A sa loob ng pitong araw.

Sa kasalukuyan ay mayroon ng 165 vaccination teams ang lungsod at 54 vaccination sites ayon sa Caloocan City Health Department.

Hindi naman bababa sa 780,207 katao o 45.2% ng kabuuang populasyon ng lungsod ang kabilang sa Priority Eligible Group B. Kabilang dito ang mga guro, social workers, government workers, essential workers, persons with disabilities at Overseas Filipino Workers.

Bilang paglilinaw, ang mga kabilang sa Priority Group A at B ay base sa ibinabang guidelines ng Department of Health.

Sa kabuuan, nasa 1.1 milyon katao na edad 17 pataas o halos 60% ng kabuuang populasyon ang target na mabakunahan ng Pamahalaang Lungsod bago matapos ang taon. Nasa 50% ng bakuna ay manggagaling sa Pamahalaang Nasyunal at 50% naman ay manggagaling sa bibilhing bakuna ng Pamahalaang Lungsod tulad ng AstraZeneca.
