Caloocan enforces 'no proof of vaccination, no entry' policy
The Caloocan City Public Safety and Traffic Management Department (DPSTM) inspected on Wednesday, Jan.12, establishments and public places in the city to ensure that the “No Proof of Vaccination, No Entry Policy” is being enforced, according to a report by Manila Bulletin.
The policy is related to the city’s Ordinance No. 0959 Series of 2022, which regulates the mobilization of unvaccinated individuals except for buying essential goods while the city is under Alert Level 3 quarantine status.
According to the local government, vaccination cards as well as body temperatures of individuals were checked upon entering the establishments.
They are also required to fill up a declaration form which can be found at the buildings’ entrances or through scanning the “StaySafe.ph” quick response QR code.
Residents are reminded to always bring their vaccination cards when going to public and private places in the city, and are urged to get vaccinated to get protected against COVID-19.
