The City Environmental Management Department (CEMD) conducted a clean-up operation in Ususan St. in Barangay 27 and Buklod ng Nayon in Barangay 8. The operation aimed to maintain the cleanliness of the environment and remove any blockages in the waterways in preparation for the upcoming rainy season.

The team composed of CEMD personnel and volunteers removed various types of waste, including plastic bags, bottles, and other non-biodegradable materials that are harmful to the environment. They also cleared the waterways, such as drainage and canals, to prevent flooding and other problems that may arise during heavy rains.

The CEMD encourages the residents to be vigilant in keeping their surroundings clean and safe for everyone. They also ask for the cooperation of the citizens in properly disposing of their waste and to avoid throwing garbage in waterways and other prohibited areas. The department emphasizes that everyone must do their part to maintain a clean, healthy, and safe environment.
